Vivek View.

Vivek Ramaswamy says his initial goal is to get the candidate ranking that will propel him to the GOP primary debate stage. That means he needs a ton of names. You will send him at least the $1 he requests. He wants money, but more important, your name. Vivek punches all the right buttons but this is the age of disbelief, of suspicion — of the BIG LIE. So whom do you trust? Ab-so-lute-ly nobody, not even Matilda who stood by you every time you fell on your face. But you definitely want Vivek on the big stage. Assuming he doesn’t step back from his published views and doesn’t alter his “vows,” he will change the political game of dodge and fudge.

This is a partial list of what Vivek says he would do if elected President.

Shut down the Department of Education.

Shut down the FBI.

Shut down the IRS.

Deploy the U.S. Military to secure the border and annihilate the Mexican drug cartels.

Restore Energy Independence. Abandon the Climate Cult and unshackle nuclear energy.

Declare independence from China and hold the CCP accountable for Covid-19.

End the buying of American land by CCP affiliates.

End Biden’s dirty secret — funding the Russia vs Ukraine war.

Oppose ESG’s WOKE capitalism and influence of money in America’s politics.

Encourage the end to Super Pac money in politics.

Encourage the end of America’s anti-growth climate agenda in the name of global “equity.”

Cancel Executive Order 11246 that established Affirmative Action.

Dismantle Lyndon Johnson’s failed “Great Society.”

Limit Federal Government’s scope and jurisdiction.

Encourage a goal of achieving semiconductor independence.

Impose term limits, cancel civil service protections for bureaucrats and cut 50% of all agency staffing.

Eliminate Federal employee unions.

Oppose Central Bank Digitalized Currencies(CBDCs).

Endorse Article V and the Convention of States resolution.

When Donald Trump entered politics in 2015, he announced what he would do if elected and he kept his word. But, like all politicians, he fell short of naming specifics, avoiding black and white answers to sticky issues that might offend special interest voters. Instead, “draining the swamp” was his popular, catch-all slogan. Donald did pull the plug on wasteful regulations. His achievements as President were exemplary. But today, Washington’s corrupt swamp dwellers are alive and well. Speaking eloquently from his cellar, Biden promised to unify America but also fell short of naming specifics like high interest rates, record inflation, record gas prices, Covid mandates, open borders, business failures and Woke-ism. Regarding his promise, he simply misspoke. He meant to say “divide America.” For that he gets an A+.

But now you might have a primary candidate willing to confront all the American people and challenge all the sacred cows — daring to mention the unmentionable. On a debate stage, if moderators ask direct issue questions, Vivek’s positions are already rooted in the public domain. The other candidates — Trump, Haley, DeSantis, Scott, Spence, Hutchinson, Elder and others TBD — have no wiggle room. Neither will the GOP establishment. Leave it to none other than a millennial outsider to possibly force other candidates to publish a specific, fleshed-out platform. Not for a minute, do you expect them to follow suit, nor do you expect Vivek to ride in on a white horse. For instance, on the subjects of social security, medicare and the horrific national debt, Vivek suggests . . .”we will grow our way out of (money) problems.” That simplistic reply forces you to roll your eyes and conclude he doesn’t support massive cuts in criminal Federal spending, or in the Fed’s exiting the healthcare business.

That negative aside, Vivek’s participation in debates should make for some good theater. You don’t trust how Big Media will manipulate the candidates. You don’t trust how the candidates will parse words. And regardless of who eventually squares off in ’24, you don’t trust the voting system. For you, it will take serious reform — Voter ID; one person; one vote; one day; no harvesting; compressed, verifiable absentee policy; stringent chain of custody of ballots. Without honest elections, America is not a sovereign nation. That issue should be first on the GOP debate stage.  But it won’t be, unless it’s to bait DT.
