You had the best of intentions — seriously — to offer a positive outlook for the New Year. But you made a dumb mistake. You watched TV. Prognosticators of all kinds — journalists, philosophers and politicians — advanced opinions about the year that just died. But every one of them missed the top story of the  15th year of the 21st century. It wasn’t Trayvon Martin. It wasn’t Ferguson. It wasn’t the IRS scandal, Benghazi, the mid-term election beat-down or the executive amnesty debacle. Or even America’s international irrelevance in showdowns with ISIS, Putin, Iran, Syria — well — pick a country — any country. No, the scoop of 2014 was the stunning attainment of one Barack Obama, to become the most successful president since George Washington. GW gets top billing because the Grand Experiment rested entirely on his shoulders. Two hundred eighteen years later, Barack Hussein Obama announced to all Americans that he would transform GW’s United States and, given their vote of confidence, set out to do exactly that. He laid out his agenda in clear, explicit language and, to the letter, delivered on that promise. You could not give him any grade less than A+. His promise came to its ultimate conclusion with adoption and implementation of national healthcare, the foundational pathway to socialism. It happened that at least two thirds of Americans didn’t want Obamacare. But the President couldn’t care less. And neither did the GOP-controlled House members who had no stomach to oppose him and no courage to defend The Constitution, even after the people elected them twice to do just that. On New Year’s Eve and New Year’s day, as bowl games ran amok, Obama’s transformation of America roared victoriously with the following TV ad:

Yes, this ad runs repeatedly on American television. Read it again and again. America has come to this — transformed from the land of self reliance to the land of entitlement, from the land of givers to the land of takers, from the land of responsibility to the land of dependency, from the land of moral greatness to the land of immoral excess, from the land of spiritual belief to the land of secular self-worship, from the land of global prestige and power to the land of disrespect and impotence. Some will say this summary is distorted, false or melodramatic. If so, they must ignore a mountain of evidence. A national debt eclipsing 18 trillion dollars. Over 22 million people unemployed or under-employed. Nearly 50 million people on food stamps. Welfare benefits surpassing minimum wage. Racial division at an all-time high. Crony capitalism thriving. The DOJ making a mockery of justice. Education failing at every level. The world teetering on a powder keg. And still, with this new year in its infancy, Obama’s transformation of  Washington’s America need not stand. The new and incumbent members of Congress can begin doing the noble work of restoration. Is restoring America worth risking their political lives, fortunes and sacred honor? Be vigilant. You don’t have long to wait for the answer.

The broadcast Media is beside itself with joy over the Ferguson uproar. What mayhem. What emotional outpouring. What condemnations. What a delicious Blame Game. The actors who call themselves journalists, the media corporations and the professional race baiters are clear winners. The losers are everyone else. Michael Brown lost his life and shouldn’t have. But let’s be painfully honest. He’s the first person to blame — for robbing a store and assaulting the store clerk. Second, blame the store clerk for not carrying a gun, detaining Brown and calling the cops. Third, blame the bystanders at the store who stood by and did nothing, including Brown’s friend. Fourth, blame Brown’s parents and friends for their roles in supporting and defending his behavior and lifestyle. Fifth, blame the entire African American culture that glorifies violence, ignorance, immorality, victimhood and racism. Sixth, blame the national black leadership for stoking the fire of black racism to further their own political and celebrity ambitions. Seventh, blame Darren Wilson for lack of judgment under duress. Eighth, blame Obama, Holder and the Federal establishment for meddling in a local law enforcement matter — further driving a wedge between black and white to expand Federal autonomy. Ninth, blame black gangs and hoodlums who use tragedies to riot, burn and pillage, proving by their very actions why law enforcement agencies tend to profile and target blacks. There is an inconvenient truth in this latest tragedy. The self-described African American community is losing the fight to clean its own house, as black on black crime and violence continues to escalate, as 75% of black children are born out of wedlock and as black culture continues to embrace an immoral counterculture. The racist divide has never been more glaring — a growing animosity. Blacks have never been more bitter, more strident, more outraged and dissatisfied; yet the country has a black President, a black attorney general, a slew of other black Federal officials in high positions, thousands of black entrepreneurs, wealthy black athletes, dominant black musicians and Hollywood celebrities, black police chiefs, mayors, etc. The black advance has been staggering by any measure; yet black resentment has never been as intense. You must leave it to professional clinicians to conduct a group psychoanalysis. Or to anthropologists to conduct a study of possible genetic factors. In the Ferguson aftermath, you’re compelled to ask a series of “if” questions: If Darren Wilson were black, would riots follow? If Wilson were black and Michael Brown white, would the white community riot and destroy property; and would Holder visit Ferguson? If Michael Brown had killed Officer Wilson, would the white community burn and pillage black businesses? The reaction of African Americans on the scene, behind the microphones and in the broadcast booths leads unerringly to one conclusion in this sorry business — they believe Wilson became a policeman to have an opportunity one day to kill a black man. They believe he happily risked his career, his family and his future to gun down an innocent boy — strictly because the boy was black. Michael Brown’s death, as tragic as it was — would have been back page news had one of his own race killed him. Young black men die every day, killed by young black men; and neither Barack Obama, Eric Holder or Al Sharpton gives a rip. And the Blame Game continues, fueled by Media moguls, laughing all the way to the bank.

An MIT professor ignited a firestorm by calling Americans stupid. You must admit you’re utterly baffled by the visceral reaction. You thought the stupidity of the American people was common knowledge — a foregone conclusion — given that they elected the current occupant of the White House — twice. You don’t need forensic evidence to diagnose stupidity. To be fair, and accurate, only a portion of those voters can be characterized as truly stupid. Half the people, give or take a couple of million, didn’t vote for Obama. Many of those who did were either ideolog socialists, or racists, or loyal, left wing DEMS. It is true the remainder represented — and still represent — a rather massive patchwork of ignorance and stupidity. Nonetheless, Gruber was wrong. From the day socialized healthcare was hatched, the majority of Americans, including millions of stupid voters, rejected it. Gruber didn’t really scam the American people. After all, they had no access, did they? With Obama’s blessing, he confidently hustled and defrauded Congress, the Supreme Court and the feckless Media — the very people elected, appointed and honor-bound to safeguard the people and preserve The Constitution. If he thinks the American people are stupid, Gruber must believe your elected leaders are, at best, world-class idiots, or, at worst, craven swindlers. To their credit, the stupid American people did the only thing in their power — they eventually fired a bunch of Obama’s bootlickers. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court abdicates its duty and the Media continuously defiles its illustrious tradition, shilling for the POTUS. Meanwhile, the nation’s checks and balances are paralyzed to move against Obama and his stooges who flout the law, lie with impunity and dare anyone to step into the ring. Americans of a previous time — the stouthearted generations — the “square” generations who believed in a moral code —  would have vaulted into the ring — gladly — and cleaned house. But that was yesteryear.  Today, you hear the new Congressional majority’s tough talk. It reminds you of something doesn’t it? Sure it does. It recalls years of other talk — a mountain of talk — a never-ending litany — the blame and complain game, going nowhere. But now the new majority can save the talk, use its power and repair America’s decaying foundation — if it has the courage to act. As he brandished his elitist, superior arrogance, Gruber failed to observe a simple truth — stupidity doesn’t nullify the courage, virtue and morality of decent people. Conversely, intelligence can never nullify the absence of courage, virtue and morality of deceitful people. Sadly, the  proof of this corollary resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
