The Devil Himself.

That about fries it.

Today, Rush (the Limbaugh one)reported on the latest lawsuit filed against Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop in Lakewood, Colorado. A guy– a homosexual male — walked into Phillips’ bake store and requested that Jack bake him a cake with a depiction of Satan performing fellatio. For those of you not versed in Italian, fellatio is what practitioners might call an appetizing sexual feat. So far, the prospective recipient of Satan’s talent has been withheld, most likely pending notification of kin. To be sure, Phillips told his unwelcome customer to take a hike. Unfortunately, militants never take a hike. Because this one happens to live in the despotic State of Colorado, he’s free to stalk a small business owner — a Christian — who refuses to bow to his demands. You remember Jack. He made national news in 2012 for refusing to bake a wedding cake for a homosexual couple. The Colorado Civil Rights Commission sued Phillips. Yes, it really happened. A State entity sued an American citizen. Let that sink in. Worse, lower courts let  the protracted case land in the U. S. Supreme Court. The vote favored Phillips 7-2, over Ginsburg and Sotomayor dissents. But that decision wasn’t the end of the crusade against the Lakewood confectionery. It took awhile for transgender lawyer Autumn Scardina  to show up at Masterpiece. But show up he/she did. He/She asked Phillips to bake a gender transition cake — pink on the inside and blue on the outside. He answered, “No.” Scardina filed with Colorado’s Nazi Civil Rights Commission for Masterpiece/Round 2. Phillips counter sued and the charges were dropped. And then Satan came calling. Evil has many faces. However, just about everyone overlooks the real story behind the Phillips persecution. It isn’t about religious freedom at all. It’s about individual freedom. Sure, the Court exonerated him, finding that his Christian beliefs deserved Constitutional protection. Which means, what exactly? Which means, if he had refused service on the basis of his personal, prejudicial reasons, the Court would have nailed him to the wall. You see, Phillips was and is not free to detest homosexuals or Muslims or tattooed females or anyone else. He is not free to deny service on the basis of his disdain or hostility. And neither are you. In America, the land of the free, if you own a business, you’re not free to discriminate — period. You’re not free to be racist. The Law says “it is illegal . . .to discriminate against someone . . . because of that person’s race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation . . . ” Obviously, The Founders were not moral, nor were they smart enough to create the USCC or EEOC. Thankfully, their lack of vision has been rectified by the U.S Supreme Court and various Federal agencies who only want to make the world a fairer place, even at the expense of crushing the archaic notion of individual freedom. Promoting LGBT studies in elementary schools can only make your children more tolerant, while helping them examine their own sexual options. Enforcing same sex marriage in The Church, even against the will of the majority, can only help educate congregations and  encourage diversity. You already can see the results of this governmental and LGBT activism in the private sector — primarily in the rapidly increasing appearance of TV ads and programming that display LGBT culture. Of course, you do realize that  advances in societal evolution invariably lead to mishaps.  Tell that to Jack Phillips. He’s a marked man, whatever he does, wherever he goes. He’s a Christian at a time when  Christianity is uncool. The majority is on his side; but the majority lives in the suburbs, in Every Town, USA. Unknown. Unspoken. Unequipped. Powerless. No match for The Swamp, SCOTUS and Media. But give Jack credit. He won’t give in. Not to  PC, not to LGBT — not to The Devil Himself.
