Feel God’s Pleasure.

December 25.

Christ was born on this day, according to experts. But the precise day doesn’t matter, does it? Like almost all Christians, you invest time in decorating, social engaging and attending church to honor Him and spread Christmas cheer. Primarily, it’s family time, as are other occasions that bring together loved ones. You want to think that Christ remains at the center of your mind during the Christmas season. But that notion isn’t true, is it? Away from church worship and from other spiritual symbols, He is not in the forefront of your conscious thought. And even when He is, the thought is fleeting, elusive, shrouded in mystery. The Church doesn’t help. Church rituals and church clerics routinely present Christ as a 24-7 Teacher, tending His flock during a 3-year ministry. You never meet Christ the person. Common sense screams at you that He slept, awakened, attended to His personal needs, sustained his energy with meals; and most of all engaged in conversation that had nothing to do with preaching, healing or counseling. In His goings and comings, was He opposed to “passing the time of day?” Likely not. On the way to the fish market, did He pass an acquaintance and say, “Hey, Caleb, nice to see you. Heard you brought in a big catch yesterday.” When He sat with one or more of His disciples, did they talk about their jobs, about women, about sports, about the Roman bullies?” Did the Lord say, “Man, I can’t help you with the ladies; I can’t understand them myself.” Christ was young, certainly by today’s standards. You can’t believe He spent his waking hours shuffling about like an old man, as depicted in film. You can’t imagine He didn’t run, didn’t swim,  didn’t exert Himself physically in many other ways; plus have a few laughs among close friends. But in His final days, according to Biblical accounts, He did exhibit His humanity — His sorrow and fear — of crucifixion — and as a human being, why not? Nails through the ankles and somewhere in the vicinity of the wrists and eventual suffocation was a common, sadistic execution, expressly reserved for slave or anyone else not Roman. Christ gave Himself up to the governing powers. He didn’t sail off to another land, change His appearance, lay low and give His ministry a rest. No, He stood fast, condemned by his own Pharisee chums — the Jewish High Command who ran the show and hated Him. They “found” false witnesses, fabricated false charges and essentially railroaded Him to Governor Pilate’s courthouse (Luke 23:1,2).* Jesus offered no defense, made no accusations and made no denials. He told His followers to stand down and basically instructed them to “love your enemies.” Who does that? Who does that? For sure, not Donald Trump — a man shunned and often betrayed by his own party, accused of inciting insurrection and all manner of false crimes. Unlike Christ Jesus, however, Donald wants to nail the bad guys. Still, bear in mind that Pilate crucified Jesus, not the Jews — who didn’t crucify anyone. They in fact chose stoning as their default mode of capital punishment. Over 2000 years removed from the savagery of Christ’s crucifixion, it’s easy to pass it off as myth. And it’s even easier to assume that if Christ was divine — if He indeed was the Son of God — He would be superhuman, empowered supernaturally to mentally and physically endure His torment. The brutal truth is He suffered beyond comprehension, as any mortal would. He suffered willingly. Suffering was His final lesson. He had to die. He chose to die. For you. Therefore, on this day, on any day, please exercise your deepest imagination and put yourself in His place. Give Him a full, uninterrupted hour of your time to feel his suffering and do your level best — to live a life worthy of it  — and in doing so, feel God’s pleasure.

A Worthy Life: Eric Liddell (1902-1945) was a missionary and Olympic Gold Medalist. His sister always felt he let running interfere with his singular devotion to God. Liddell was alleged* to have said to her: “Jennie, I believe God made me for a purpose . . . and he made me fast . . . and when I run, I feel his pleasure. **

* The ADL and  other organizations argue that the Jews were in no way complicit in the crucifixion of Jesus. Opinions on this issue vary widely and should all be taken into consideration.

** Most likely, Liddle’s movie dialogue wasn’t real, but his devotion was. No one questioned that he ran for God.

You Decide.

In this age of rampant corruption and criminality, casting blame gets to be a habit. In return, you risk being condemned for having the conceit to pass judgment. So be it. Your verdict is in. The guilty don’t bother hiding in the shadows. The evidence against them eradicates all reasonable doubt. The guilty are America’s enemies — individuals, political parties, federal agencies, clubs, groups, syndicates, etc. Together, they represent  a tiny minority among 340+ million inhabitants — but still a minority that numbers in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions. But there is one enemy — one dominate enemy — that hovers over America as Her most dangerous adversary — the adversary responsible for corrupting Her basic principles. Malicious and malignant, Legacy Media is that enemy. No one should be surprised that Media is politically left of center, especially since the 1960’s. Journalism has always attracted social activists who have a natural aversion to pure capitalism, preferring socialism that destroys the independent middle class. Media has always favored the Democrat Party. But when Barack Obama stepped into the ring, political favoritism morphed into outright idolatry and Media became the mouthpiece of the Democrat Party, no different from Russia’s state-owned RT(TV) and Sputnik (news agency). The Democrat Party is America’s de facto Socialist Party.

You intended to list the well-known evidence proving that Media is the unapologetic puppet of the Socialist Party. But why beat a dead horse? Proof isn’t truth — not to fools. Instead, you turn to certain Fodder excerpts from March 2023. Paddy Chayefsky’s screenplay for Network was released in 1976/77. Was the late Chayefsky a visionary, able to foresee a traitorous Biden? More spectacularly — did Paddy predict ]  Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum (WEF)?

You decide. Decide the comparison between 1976 and 2023.

Howard Beale.
“. . . .when (Legacy Media) is the most awesome goddamned propaganda force in the whole godless world, who knows what shit will be peddled for truth . . . ? So, listen to me. Television is not the truth! Television is a goddamned amusement park . . . a circus, a carnival . . .a traveling troupe of story-tellers, singers . . . side-show freaks, and football players. . . . If you want truth, go to God; go to your guru, go to yourself,  because that’s the only place you’ll ever find any real truth . . . you’re never going to get any truth from us. We tell you anything . . . we lie like hell . . .We’ll tell you any shit you want to hear. We deal in illusion. None of it is true. But you people sit there — all of you — day after day, night after night, all ages, colors, creeds — You believe (the) illusion we’re spinning . . . You do whatever (we) tell you. You dress like the tube, you eat like the tube, you raise your children like the tube, you think like the tube. This is mass madness, you maniacs! In God’s name, you people are the real thing.  The tube is the illusion. . . . .”

You decide — is WEF  a serious, decades-old conspiracy?

Arthur Jensen
“There are no Russians. There are no Arabs. There are no third worlds. There is no West. There is only one holistic system of systems, one vast and interwoven, interacting, multi-variate, multi-national dominion of dollars . . . petro-dollars, electro-dollars, multi-dollars, reichmarks, rubles, yauns and pounds. It is the international system of currency that determines the totality of life on this planet. That is the natural order of things . .  you . . . howl about America and democracy. There is no America. There is no democracy. There is only (Blackrock, Vanguard, State Street) IBM . . . and Exxon. These are the nations of the world today. . . . We no longer live in a world of nations and ideologies, Mr. Beale. The world is a college of corporations. You will live to see that perfect world in which there is no war and famine, oppression and brutality — one vast and ecumenical holding company, for whom all men will work to serve a common profit, in which all men will hold a share of stock, all necessities provided, all anxieties tranquilized, all boredom amused.”

You decide if the threat to you and America’s Constitution is real.

Howard Beale
“The people spoke . . .(we saw)a radiant eruption of democracy. That sort of thing isn’t likely to happen again. Because, in the bottom of all our terrified souls, we all know that democracy is a dying giant, a sick, sick dying, decaying political concept, writhing in its final pain. I don’t mean the United States is finished as a world power. The United States is the most powerful . . .most advanced country in the world . . . I don’t mean the Communists are going to take over the world. What’s finished is the idea that this great country is dedicated to the freedom and flourishing of every individual in it. It’s the
individual that’s finished. It’s the single, solitary human being who’s finished. It’s every single one of you out there who’s finished. Because this is no longer a nation of independent individuals. This is a nation of (335-odd) million digitized, deodorized . . .bodies, totally unnecessary as human beings and as replaceable as piston rods — Well, the time has come to say: Is transhumanism such a bad word? Because good or bad, that’s what’s so. The whole world is becoming humanoid, creatures that look human but aren’t. The whole world, not just us. We’re just the most advanced country, so we’re getting there first — The whole world’s . . .becoming mass-produced, programmed, wired, insensate things, useful only to produce and consume other mass-produced things, all of them as unnecessary and useless as we are —— that’s the simple truth you have to grasp, that human existence is an utterly futile and purposeless thing — because once you’ve grasped that, then the whole universe becomes orderly and comprehensible . . . This world quite simply is a vast cosmology of small corporations orbiting around larger corporations who, in turn, revolve around giant corporations . . . expressly designed for the production and consumption of useless things. . .

If Legacy Media were loyal to the Constitution and committed to Truth, would you be living under corrupt governance and would you view the world with suspicion and fear? You decide.

Rather than inform the public and hold the government accountable, broadcasting outlets in Russia offer a pro-Kremlin version of the news. When foreign media coverage of Russian leaders or their policies is unfavorable, Russian state-media use disinformation to influence opinion.

ShareAmerica is the U.S. Department of State’s platform for sharing compelling stories and images about American society, culture, and life, and about the principles that underlie our nation’s foreign policy and engagement with the world.

In his memoirs, G. Gordon Liddy wrote: “The purpose of the second Watergate break-in was to find out what (Democrat Part Chairman Larry) O’Brien had of a derogatory nature about us, not for us to get something on him or the Democrats.”

The Only Hope.

“Ping!”

The text shows up from someone who’s not among your contacts. The message is direct.

“It’s Mike Johnson. I’m in a tough spot right now. I’m $100,000 short of my November goal and you’re my only hope. Help me hit my goal here.”

“Here” is the internet link that takes you to a colorful photo of Johnson with the accompanying descriptor — “FROM THE DESK OF SPEAKER MIKE JOHNSON.” In a nutshell, that communication alone is enough to elicit from you a tired but fervent “Bullshit.” Nothing like a lie to confirm your hostile view of GOP fundraising, because there’s no way the message came from the new speaker’s desk. It came either from the NRCC or from NRC boiler room hacks who don’t subscribe to original thinking. For example, scroll down and read exactly what you have come to expect from mediocrity.

“We need to turn this ship around . . . House Democrats out-raised us by millions last quarter . . . we rely on regular folks like you to keep the lights on . . .”

Where’s the barf bag?

Welcome to world class whining, courtesy of the GOP — the undisputed whine experts. The good news is you feel all warm and fuzzy knowing you’re “regular folks.” But even more important is what Johnson allegedly says in “his” text. He says, “You’re my only hope.” Damn. Double damn. The Speaker himself wrote that? To you. Hot damn, Matilda, that’s a lot of pressure to lay on a somebody, much less a nobody. Imagine — you — the only hope.

You gotta talk to Mike. Seriously. Do it quick. Now that he feels comfortable texting you, it should be OK to call him Mike. Get to know him. Maybe call him Mikey. Sit with him. Level with him. Let him know that he shouldn’t let all his hopes ride on you. That he needs to understand — at least two dozen other members of the House are also banking on you, not to mention sitting senators, GOP presidential candidates and gubernatorial candidates. But, what the hell, you have the time; you’re definitely open to his visit for a private session. After all, he does work for you. Like all employees, he wants something from you and the truth is you want something from him. So, before he shows up at your doorstep, you better have a specific list of actions you want from him.

You want him:
To address the full House, recommending the Convention of States Resolution. No big deal. He already endorsed COS in several interviews.  But America hasn’t heard him.

To contact every state legislature to approve the COS Resolution.

To publish a list of GOP house members who are closet RINOs. The American people who elected them deserve to know who they are.

To publish a list of GOP members who want to see Trump driven from the 2024 election. Mike knows who they are.

To propose a balanced budget that, at the very least, eliminates funding for Planned Parenthood, the Department of Education and foreign aid to America’s avowed enemies.

To hold congressional hearings to impeach DHS secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, charging him with treason for flooding America with illegal aliens and drugs.

To hold congressional hearings to impeach J. Biden, charging him with treason for violating his oath of office.

To personally censure the US Supreme Court for assaulting the US Constitution.

Mike won’t see this list unless he knocks on your door. The chances of that happening? Yep, when Hell freezes over. To be reasonably civil, you respect him and other warriors in Washington who put their country ahead of their political (and financial) ambitions. Some are in the limelight; some labor in the dark, unappreciated. As far as you can tell, two lawmakers from your state — senators Thom and Ted — manage to avoid combat. Another — Rep. R. Hudson — just happens to be chair of the NRCC. Hudson (Richard) and NRC chair Ronna McDaniel need to pool their resources and figure out how to stop losing elections. When Trump won in 2016, the GOP establishment smiled in public but wept in private. They in fact lost when Trump won. So they did and do the next best thing — secretly stab him in the back at every opportunity. Incidentally, Mitt Romney’s niece Ronna makes over 400,000 clams a year. Not bad for a loser.

You have to remember — this rant is about politics. Money and power. That’s it. You won’t hear from Speaker Mike. But, definitely, you’re bound to hear from his desk — repeatedly.
